Iyad Abu Ruk

Iyad Abu Ruk is a Norwegian film director of Palestinian origin, renowned for his creative contributions to cinema. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in directing and acting, providing him a strong foundation for his film endeavors. Iyad runs “Ruk Art Production,” a company dedicated to producing documentaries that reflect the human community’s diversity and complexity. An active advocate for human rights, he also serves as a director at the Norwegian Hands Foundation, focusing on humanitarian issues globally. Iyad was honored as the Palestinian Personality of the Year for 2022 by the “Lady of the Earth” Foundation for his impactful work.
